100% Sustainable & Ethical

effcue products are produced exclusively from organic Indian cotton, and the entire production process is controlled and certified in accordance with the latest version of GOTS. All products are labelled as Organic.

Our manufacturer has been licensed under the Global Organic Standard (GOTS) since 2007. For the past five years, the Company has been the largest organic textile licensee of the Soil Association.

The Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS) is the worldwide leading textile processing standard for organic fibres, including ecological and social criteria, backed up by independent certification of the entire textile supply chain.

The aim of the standard is to define world-wide recognised requirements that ensure organic status of textiles, from harvesting of the raw materials, through environmentally and socially responsible manufacturing up to labelling in order to provide a credible assurance to the end consumer.

100% of the production undergoes annual audits to comply with the FWF Code of Labour Practices in accordance with the International Labour Organisation’s conventions.

Our manufacturer has been a member of Fair Wear Foundation (FWF) since 2006.

effcue apparel 90% Reduced CO2

effcue is made in manufacturing facilities powered by green renewable energy, from low-impact raw materials. The carbon footprint of effcue products has been reduced by some 90% and the calculations were certified under the PAS2050 standard by the Carbon Trust in the UK between 2007-2009.

It has been calculated that a single effcue T-shirt saves around 7 kilograms of CO2. This are actual reductions achieved in the manufacturing, without any carbon offsetting.

The “PETA-Approved Vegan” logo is a way of recognising progressive compassionate businesses – and helping ethical consumers identify where to shop with confidence, safe in the knowledge that they’re not supporting the exploitation of animals.
